The main responsibilities are as follows

  • Developing mathematical models to assess how soil pollution affects ecosystem services
  • Translating pollution-nutrient interactions into quantifiable distortions of ecosystem services
  • Analysing data and modelling using R
  • Produce milestones and deliverables for the project
  • Collaborate with the project’s international partners
  • Publish research results and present them at international conferences

Skills and qualifications required

  • PhD in ecotoxicology, ecology, environmental sciences or closely related field.
  • Proven experience in the following areas
  • Ecotoxicology/ecology/environmental science
  • Ecosystem services and ecological risk assessment
  • Environmental data analysis and modelling
  • Programming in R
