The primary goal of the Modelling Board is to connect with, gather needs from, and actively engage future users of the MP and DST. Rather than developing tools in isolation, the project embraces a participatory approach, ensuring that user perspectives directly shape model selection, platform development, and tool functionalities.
From the outset, the Board will help identify and categorise user needs. Through consultations and structured surveys, members will provide input on expectations, practical requirements, and potential challenges. These insights will directly inform:
- The selection of models
- The design and development of the MP
- The development and functionality of the DST
By embedding user feedback into core development stages, the project ensures that the final outputs are scientifically robust and practically applicable.
