On April 30^th, 2025, SOILPROM participated in a pre-meeting for the Soil Pollution Cluster. The main aim of this cluster is to function as a platform for communication and exchange between EC-funded research projects on soil pollution. In the pre-meeting, 5 research projects participated: ISLANDR, SOILPROM, EDAPHOS, ARAGORN, and PHISHES.

The administrative support of the Soil Pollution Cluster will be provided by the Mission Soil Platform. The Soil Pollution Cluster platform will act as a platform to find synergies between the different projects. Xenia Trier of the University of Copenhagen confirmed that the project ARAGORN would agree to co-lead the cluster.

A launch meeting of the Soil Pollution Cluster will take place online at the end of June 2025. The second cluster meeting will probably take place in person during the Mission Soil Week in November 2025 in Aarhus, Denmark.
