Between 15–19 September 2025, SOILPROM project results were presented at the 52nd Congress of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH), held in Melbourne, Australia. The annual IAH Congress is one of the most important international events for the global hydrogeological community, bringing together researchers, practitioners, and experts from around the world.

As part of the congress program, a poster, entitled “Comparison of models for estimating soil hydraulic properties of glacial sandy soils based on laboratory tests” was delivered to researchers specialising in hydrogeology, soil science, and groundwater modelling. The presentation provided an opportunity to share project outcomes and exchange experiences with a broad international audience.

The presented research focused on the comparison of different modeling approaches used to estimate soil hydraulic properties in glacial sandy soils, based on laboratory test results. This topic is of particular importance for hydrogeological studies related to groundwater flow modeling, water resource management, and environmental protection, especially in regions shaped by glacial processes.

The International Association of Hydrogeologists Congress is organised annually and serves as a key platform for sharing research results, innovative methods, and practical experiences within the hydrogeological community. Participation in the 52nd IAH Congress strengthened the international visibility of the project and supported collaboration with researchers from diverse scientific and geographic backgrounds.
